Beyond the Motor City
The documentary shows a lot of interesting facts about Detroit and the transportation model in the U.S., but it doesn’t explain much why they happened. For example, why did they make the largest infrastructure project in the world, with the interstate highway system, and later they stopped investing in transportation? The funny thing is the U.S. government is the only one n the world that can afford basically anything they want. They can spend whatever they want, but they still use the excuse that they can’t afford to spend money in such things as public transportation.
